“Dr. Amy” joined Miami Beach Pediatrics team in the summer of 2018 after being intrigued by the office philosophy and the care her own children received there. She also currently practices as a nurse practitioner at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL.
Dr. Amy Pantaleo’s practice philosophy integrates health care advocacy with individualized and family-centered approaches. It is important to her to actively listen, understand and properly address child/parental concerns and goals at each visit. Given her background and dual role in the hospital setting, she is passionate about preventing childhood injury and trauma as these are the leading cause of death and injury in the pediatric population. Amy emphasizes the importance of holistic health and wellness awareness. Overall well-being reflects the balance of physical-psychosocial-emotional realms.
Amy sees infants, children and adolescents and young adults for well child physicals, school, sport or camp physicals and also sees sick or injured patients in the office or via telehealth platforms.
